Cyber safety refers to practices, procedures, actions, measures and behaviour that focuses on the protection of individuals and organizations from possible harm in the digital environment. It covers a wide range of human focus practices, responsible online behaviour, understanding digital risk and safety while on the internet.

Cyber Safety for girls is very paramount currently due to the use of Internet of Things (IoT) by children such as smart mobile phones & tablets, gaming consoles, smart watches, smart speakers (Alexa), smart toys (dolls) etc.

Their enlightenment about the risk of being online without knowledge of how to be safe is detrimental. Cyber safety not only protects the computer, network, device from cyber-attack, but also protects young girls from harm.

The internet should be a safe space for girls.
